   Deceased on July 28, 1984 while off-duty.

Burkie Hollenberger, Sr. - Chief/Firefighter

Burkie served our department for many years as a firefighter and as Fire Chief for 2 years before leaving the department. He also worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Saline County Sheriff's Department until the time of his death
