Welcome to the OFFICIAL website of the East End Volunteer Fire Department. East End is located outside of the southwest edge of Little Rock's city limits directly across the Pulaski county line in Saline county. We are a volunteer department with two paid firefighters working Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm at our Central Station. We serve an area of 53 square miles containing approximately 10,000 people. We have three stations with three pumpers, one tanker and one rescue. Our ISO rating is a 6/9. We are constantly working to maintain our training, facilities and equipment in order to better this rating, not only for the satisfaction of accomplishment but for the residents of East End and their insurance rates. For the past three years we have been the third busiest department in Saline County right behind Benton and Bryant, both of which are municipalities. We run mutual aid with several departments surrounding us. A few of these are Sardis, Arch Street, Cane Creek, Hensley, and Northeast Saline Fire Departments. |
